After two years of hard work, the first event of our Formula Student season was scheduled for mid-July. Formula Student Netherlands was the very first event for the majority of the team. The first technical inspections went well, and we also received praise from the scrutineers for the quality of the car. In the Statics, which were all presented on the same day, the team was able to secure 25th place in the Engineering Design, 18th place in the Cost & Manufacturing and 14th place in the Business Plan. Once the battery scruti had been passed, the mechanical and electrical inspection were also completed quickly and successfully. Under time pressure, the team also managed to get the SPR23evo through the tilt and rain test. After a few attempts, Sandy also passed the brake test. As a result, we were able to collect all the stickers for the technical inspections in the first event, which is a huge success for the team. Unfortunately, we were unable to take part in the Endurance on the last day of the event due to a fault in the battery. Nevertheless, we are very proud of the result of the first event.
