With our first one-year vehicle since switching to all-wheel electric drive, our first event of the 2025 season was coming up in mid-July. The eighth and, for the time being, last edition of Formula Student Netherlands was held at the TT Circuit Assen. With 15 team members in attendance, we worked hard to pass all the technical inspections with Roxy. Due to the strict requirements of the scrutineers, we received important feedback and implemented it on site. The day before the endurance, only the brake test was missing to be considered “ready to race”. Unfortunately, we ran out of time to make more than one attempt.
In the static competitions, we achieved the following results out of 44 participating teams:
Business plan: 19th place
Cost & manufacturing: 20th place
Engineering design: 33rd place
Even though we couldn’t race in Assen, we are still proud that we passed 5 out of 6 technical inspections in just one year of development and manufacturing. With the experience we have gained, our next stop is FS Spain in Barcelona, where we hope to be able to compete on the track 💪.
